• Grain is straight with a medium to coarse texture and a smooth natural luster.
• Moderately durable decay resistance, however, susceptible to insect attacks.
• Works easily with hand and machine tools.
• Due to the wood’s natural softness, it may leave behind some fuzzy surfaces after planing or sanding.
• Glues, stains, and finishes well.
