Purple Heart (EXOTIC)

• When freshly cut, the color is more of a grayish-purplish brown, however, over time and exposure to air it generally darkens to a royal-eggplant purple with mild striping.
• Grain is often straight but can be irregular or wavy and sometimes interlocked.
• Texture can be between moderate to fine.
• Very stiff, strong, hard, and tough but works well.
• Extremely functional; can be used in interior or exterior applications.
• Extremely water resistant.
• MODERATELY EXPENSIVE
